HM Gem Engines

Had a Reco 22R hilux engine installed 10 years ago. It always burnt oil from day 1. More than my original 500k engine. Now I've noticed the head must be leaking as oil/sludge under radiator cap. I did complain a couple of times about the oil burning but they never offered nothing. I have personally maintained oil changes and water/coolant changes. Over 10 years that Reco engine has done only 80,000 klms. So there u go. THINK TWICE.

we got a so called reco long ford transit engine 3rd time lucky other 2 wrong aftr all details supplied fitted engine with all new parts went to start it did qauter of a turn locked up and there warrant what warranty

Outstanding service. The staff at hm where very helpful and detailed the work being done to my engine and kept up communication the whole time.

Thought it was going to be an ordeal buying an engine for my VW golf, not so! these guys rebuilt my engine in fast time and were so helpful through the whole process. Friendly even with my silly questions!

would never recommend Gem re conditioned engines to anyone Our car has been off the road for months, and is covered by warranty. NOT HAPPY JAN
