      I ve had Dandenong Garage Doors install at our residence over 15 years ago. I also had them come out & repair the door in December 2016. I was advised hinges needed replacing. When the door malfunctioned in May 2017 - booked the installation of the hinges , the technician Zak comes in , on the phone for 10 minutes , when I enquired about charges , especially about service fee, he turned round , said he wasn't going to do the job & drove off. when I called Dandenong Garage Doors - Joanne & Jan informed me that they trusted their employee & did not want to do my job! I was left speechless & bewildered - As a Repeat Customer -What an Upsetting Customer Experience Ive had. Who is on the side of the Honest Hardworking Consumer - What Rights do we have to be treated with Disrespect & Discourtesy . With no apologies.......... I've gone on Google & selected Waverley Garage Doors which is a boutique business the owner Nick organised Phil to come out to do the job this afternoon - so perhaps some good has come out of this experience. Waverley Garage Doors it is for all future needs ........ nothing like an owner operated business , where the customer is treated with courtesy & efficiency .

      Worst company ever. Spring on the garage door broke twice and they repaired it. Broke a third time in as many years and the repairer indicated the wrong springs were installed. The door needed heavier duty. Gave me a quote, I made no fuss about money already spent. Then the bill came at over twice the quote. Office staff totally rude saying that was the bill and no correspondence will be entered into. Even threatened me with legal action. USE SOMEONE ELSE!

      They installed my garage door and all was fine for 1 year. Then the bracket, which was screwed on, and which holds the huge spring, snapped and damaged the door panel and my garage ceiling. They came out and this time welded the bracket to steel on my wall, so the door worked again. OF course they should have welded in the first place. The installation was a quick and dirty job. Unfortunately they now refuse to repair the door panel and the damaged ceiling and I'm taking them to VCAT, where I will win the case for sure, but waste my time and money. Their product is in line with competitors, their instal is very poor and their after sales service (ie after they have your money) is appalling. My advice is don't buy from Dandenong Garage Doors. You can do much better elsewhere.
