Darwin Radio Taxi

responded to my inquiry and assured me they would be on time. they never showed up and I was offered a lift by someone else or I would have missed my air flight. Don't book in advance.

This are the worst taxi service in Darwin!!!

Absolutely ridiculous booking system, unpleasant admin that hangs up on you whilst your still talking and a rip off price.!!

Also beware of the jockies...!

Booked a taxi for an international flight never showed, no apologies from the staff. Hopeless!

I booked a cab for 11.30am pick up the night before I was flying out, 1130 comes and goes with no cab. I called the company and they simply said "we didnt have a cab in the area". I said but I booked it it shouldn't matter, only to get the same response. I was tgen told there is one ob its way and will be 10 minutes. I wsited the 10 and another 10 but had run out of time and had to get the wife ti drive me in or I would have missed my flight. Half way to the airport (from palmerston) I get a call from the driver saying he 2 minutes away.
Crap service from a crap cab company. If I could give minus stars I would.

Darwin taxi's rarely turn up to calls, are very unprofessional and most of all are very expensive.

I dont normally review but this warranted one. Needing to be at the airpirt by 1115 today, booked a taxi well in advance to arrive at 1040. No taxi by 1054, called company was told the driver had been and gone. I requested another one asap and they said it would be there quickly. At 1105 still no taxi, called again and was told it was on chapman road, I asked how long it would be and also expressed my dissatisfaction, the lady ignored my concerns, telling me (seemingly quite sarcastically) to have a nice day as she hung up on me. Luckily we had arranged a blue taxi and it came in ten minutes... Will not use this service again!

I Forget my phone in the taxi Call the office 5mn after the driver
left me. The girls say no worries i call the taxi i call you back
and nothing after. i call maybe 10 times and every times the same
answer but not the same people. and at the end was just no phone find
why you forget your phone in the taxi.
Now no phone no new nothing.
Really the horrible company i saw.

Im not normally one for writing reviews but my experience with darwin taxis this morning has me outraged. I called a taxi at 7:45am, and was told it will be there shortly, two darwin taxis told me that they wasnt here to pick me up, at 8:05am i called to follow up, a rude woman answered the phone i asked her for an update, in the distance i could see a cab so i suggested "ah it might be here now" and before i could finish my sentence she said ok and hung up on me. Turns out the cab wasn't for me and i had to call them a third time. Luckily another cab from a different company was going by i managed to hail down. I have been in darwin for a week with work and each morning i seem to have issue with the taxis which results in me being late. I wouldnt recomend this company to anyone and would suggest avoiding them all together.

NOT A friendly taxi company! Also i have nearly been run over by not one but two darwin radio taxis in a fortnight at my regular crossing, which i have captured on my iphone ! I will be uploading them on you tube shortly, you decide whether they are friendly , no apology either! The call centre not sypethetic either i actually received a giggle which i also recorded!
