Ruby Gaea House Darwin Centre Against Rape

I went to Ruby Gaea as I was suffering from PTSD after a traumatic assault. I was really nervous to get help, so I was upset when the counsellor I met with for my first session was horrible. She first told me that it is up to women to not be assaulted, that we need to make decisions to not be victims. She literally blamed me for being assaulted. She then went to say that I am ruining my relationship with my partner, which I explained is not the case as my partner is very supportive, but she disagreed. I left crying and feeling like I was to blame. I am very disappointed, I would not recommend Ruby Gaea for anyone.
