Is incredibly good at walking in and diagnosing that your appliance is unserviceable within seconds and holding out his hand for a $99.00 service fee. Has happened on 2 occasions with us now and each attendance followed the same script. Each time he simply added nearly $100.00 to the cost of a new machine. It is not like he had to travel far to get to us, as we live within a stones throw of him. As pensioners, we find this pricing scale obscene even if it does include the first half hour. but when it includes 2 minutes, if that, he is due for some serious and competent competition. I wish that when I was consulting, I could have walked in the door and "Ka-ching", I usually gave the first 2 hours for free - silly me!
