The Vets there are very experienced. The advice in the consult was down to earth and I was given a few options. On the day of surgery, Jimmy's nurse met us and explained the whole procedure. Jimmy's nurse also rang me as soon as the surgery was done to give me an update on Jimmy and the discharge time. At the discharge time she gave me printed aftercare notes and also explained what is expected in the next few days. She rang me a day after to check on Jimmy. The Vet rang me a few days after the surgery to give us the results of the biopsy. The whole procedure was made the stress free and that was very important for me and my baby Jimmy. Jimmy is doing so well and we love going to Bonton Ave Vets. Thank you Vets and nurses! Highly recommend this Vet.

Great customer service and reasonable prices for quality service. Very experienced Vets which is a rare find. As business they have to charge for the service but they give you options so you can choose accordingly. No pressure to get unnecessary things and I appreciate that.

This vet wanted more to excise a small (5mm3) external tumor than what I recently spent to castrate my other dog. Difficult to understand. I live nearby and was hoping to use this vet.

My puppy had a dental and Dr. Kate was fantastic. The nurses were lovely and very helpful.

Excellent vet and first class communication from caring and informative staff. Kirsty was very helpful with emailed information and Kate the vet was just lovely to deal with and we knew our puppy was in good hands. Highly recommend.

My family has been going to this vet for over 20years Before the new management they did a wonderful job and I would have highly recommended them. However since then its sad to admit I cannon say the same thing. When our 2year old husky was a pup he ingested almost an entire bottle of power steering fluid he had found, panicked I had called the vet to let them know that we were coming down due to that reason. The receptionist was not listening clearly on the phone and was asking me how much chocolate he had consumed. To make her comprehend what I was saying I had to tell her that our pup had consumed motor vehicle power steering fluid. When she finally understood she said that they were booked out and that he should be fine, if I was concerned I should take him to another vet. Admittedly I did get mad and they did squeeze me in. They have failed to send letters, reminders or even make phone calls about vaccinations (Luckily my wife and I are organised and keep track of require vaccine dates etc.)
Recently again I was told to take the dogs (2x2yr old huskies) to a different vet clinic as they don't have anything available. Finally we get the hint, they are always 'too busy' to provide the service their name suggests they do. We will be looking around and changing vets. I figure if it were a child I would do some research and make an informed choice on which practise best suited my family, so now in turn I will do the same for my current family. Bonton Avenue 'always too busy' Vets you are not on my recommended list at all. Before Jeff retired yes, but now its a no from me.
