Sunshine is actually a private club but social golfers can get on during most of the week. It is very popular with social groups. I was extremely surprised with the quality of the course design and presentation. It has extensive bunkers and the greens are very green, smooth and quick. The original farm features add the appeal of the course. They have a big problem with seagulls at the moment - with about 10,000 birds roosting there at night - so you have to put up the sound of bird scarers on some holes. I would rate it one of the top three courses to the west of Melbourne. Upsides - great greens, challenging design. Downside - a bit hilly, rough a bit scrappy. They charge visitors $45 on weekends.
