One of the worker there doesn't know what should be a priority. He made customers waiting for him because HE WAS CLEANING TWO RUBBISH BINS FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES. And what we ask is merely a 30-second screwing job for putting on a number plate. I recently had my car rego inspection carried out at dmb. While it was straightforward i was impressed by the speed with which they were able to book me in and had thr car ready only an hour after i dropped it off. Despite a full yard on the day.
A week later i had an issue removing my number plates for the rego change as the screws were rusted and stripped and so i popped into dmb again. The mechanic (unfortunately i never asked his name) immediately removed them for me and told me to come back with the new ones and he would put them on. Which i did. He was fast and gracious despite me just turning up asking for help and refused payment.

Its so rare to come across a good mechanic and these guys are the best in Canberra. Kind, fast, good at what they do and very curteous.

I have been using DMB for my regular services since arriving in the ACT 3 years ago. What I love is that there are no surprises, you get the quote, the work gets done (properly) and if there are any problems they call you first not just "oh and while we were there we id this and here is the bill". The team are friendly and approachable and I am happy to recommend them to everyone I know. I did once fall for a "promotion" and use someone else as the special rate seemed too good to refuse, the oil leak that subsequently appeared in my 12 month old car put me off going back and it has since disappeared having my last oil change back with DMB.
