I agree with what someone said below, that Melbourne may not be quite ready for Costco. But, from the look of all of the overseas people at Costco Docklands, many are enjoying the fantastic adventure which is Costco. Costco is not only gigantic packages of everything, it is SUPERB quality that I don't see anywhere else. When I bought my Christmas decorations at Costco, it was clearly far superior to the local fare. Same with so many other things: in the garden area, office stationery, and yummmmmm the fresh bakery. They have everything. I want the spa so bad. It's $5000 but spectacular. It needs to be in my backyard to rest my weary body :-). Buy the kirkland paper towels -- much bigger than aussie stuff...the kirkland spices and olive oil, the pistachio nuts, the bagels, the muffins, the security cameras...oh and the egyptian cotton bedding....lovely. How can you tell a really good store? Do they have the same employees? Ever since this store opened, I have seen the same friendly faces :-). I have been to the new costco in Ringwood. I like Docklands better.

I thought this would be a good low cost alternative to coles and woolworths, but the sizes of the boxes were too bit to suit my panty. There is also a limited number of product lines and the travel did not make it worth while.

If I lived Local it would be good.
