Extremely Poor Experience, No Accountability

Essential Community Management has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. My garage remote stopped working, and what should have been a simple fix has turned into an ongoing saga with no resolution in sight.



I submitted the required form and followed up multiple times, only to be bounced from person to person, none of whom had any idea about my request or seemed willing to take ownership. When I finally reached someone who acknowledged the issue, their “solution” was to give me a new remote. That didn’t work either.



It’s now been over a week that I’ve been unable to access my own garage. Every time I contact them, I’m met with silence, or worse another empty promise that someone will look into it. No follow-up. No urgency. No accountability.



If this is how they manage basic maintenance issues, I’d seriously question their ability to handle anything more complex. Residents deserve better, reliable communication, basic problem-solving, and a body corporate that actually serves the community it’s paid to manage.



Avoid if you can.

Just the Worst

The worst commercial management agents I've come across. Unethical and unprofessional.

Incompetent managing large owners corporations

Beware all Owners Corporations. Incompetent senior management that disregard basic building management principles to be impartial and objective to all owners. This coupled with refusal to collaborate with any owners that seek to improve operations (especially in 1000+ apartment buildings) makes Essential Community the worst performing strata manager I have come across during 25 years of multiple property ownership (incl. 18 years as secretary for an OC). Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this company.

Best atmosphere

Luxurious buildings with family style team environment. Amazing to find management that makes an effort to back you in tough times.
