After talking my ear off telling me how great his company was, an old fashioned family owned company, not like all those cowboys out there, I was quoted $170 per hr for 3 men & I thought that would cut down on loading time, no mention of travelling time to & from his depot so I gave him the job for moving my whole house of furniture.

The positives: he gave us free wrapping paper, packaging tape & loaned us 40 boxes for free, which were collected three weeks later and they didn't break anything, that’s all the positives.

On the day the large truck arrived around 10 am with one fellow in his late 40's & another fellow who looked closer to 80 years old, which did not instil me with a lot of confidence, but hey I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt. The two fellows started loading slowly, due to one of them being quite a lot older, my son got quite worried and proceeded to give them a hand as he knew this would be a long day.

Leon himself arrived about 40 mins later in another large truck and he was also closer to 80 and not all that fit either. He bought the extra truck as he was worried everything wouldn’t fit in the first truck. Obviously there was a bit of conflict between him and the crew in the other truck about loading etc, to the stage where there was a wonderful stand up, foul mouthed argument in my driveway, what a nice touch.

Essentially there were the equivalent of 1 & 3/4 men not really the promised 3, and my son did a lot of assisting knowing this would hopefully save us time and money.

As we are extremely well organised (& have been told by many moving firms we are a removalist's dream client) we are veteran movers. I figured with three men it would take two hours to load two to unload and up to one hour travelling to our new address total 5 hours and I allowed 6 hours, Now they don’t use EFTPOS, only cash or personal cheque. I don’t have a cheque book so I had cash.The total charged was 7 hours plus travelling time to and from their depot!! Luckily we had enough cash between the family, as I was just glad to see the back of the lot of them at the end of the day. I just want to warn others that as a veteran of over 10 house moves this is one of the two worst I have made.

I booked this company to move my home contents, on removal day i rang as they had not arrived, i received a long winded excuse that soneone had cancelled my job.
Absolutely disgusting, can guarantee a larger job came in and i got cancelled.
I was moving from bulleen to templestowe and wanted to use a local company.
Leon talked up how good he was and how he looks after locals.
Think twice before booking this company.
