Davis Removals & Storage

Recently moved from Melbourne to Sunshine Coast and used Davis Removals & Storage. From the first point of contact I was met with helpful and friendly service. Dusty was our driver and had the truck packed perfectly. Everything arrived 100% in original condition. No damages or broken items. The cost was very competitive. I had many quotes from different complained and these guys were the best by far! Would highly recommend them to anyone moving!

If you need to move house to ANYWHERE, do yourself a favour, pick up the phone, call Davis removals and never look back.

I first hired them when I was moving from Melbourne to Hervey Bay. They quoted me over the phone and their quote was thousands cheaper than any Melbourne or QLD based company, not to mention they were just so lovely to deal with.. I hired them for the job and not only did they move all my belongings to Hervey Bay without incident, they were gracious enough to keep everything on the container and store it at their depot for a fraction of storage fees at a storage place until I was ready to move into my new home. Not one thing was broken.

The second time we used Davis

removals was when my mother moved up to QLD. I didn't even hesitate. I rang the manager straight away, gave all the particulars and again it was a seamless move.

The third time we used Davis was a few years later when my mother decided to move again. Without hesitation we called Jo (manager) and arranged the move. Dusty moved all our stuff each time and this time was no exception. Again seamless, excellent price, easy to deal with and not one thing lost or broken.



Approximately 6 months later I had to move back to Melbourne for family reasons and again, who did I call? Without even a second thought, Davis removals. I had already referred friends to them and they have all been grateful as I am because it's a really stressful thing moving and you want to know your belongings are treated with care and Skill.

So once again I booked their services. Again, impeccable service. Unfortunately at the Melbourne end, a granite countertop was cracked during the move. This is how that was handled: Dusty (the fabulous driver and removalist) took a photo of the break and sent it to the manager of Davis Removals, within a few days Jo, the manager emailed me asked me to provide the measurements of the countertop and a few days after that I was emailed with a choice of different granite tops.

Not only did they replace it with BETTER granite, it was delivered to my door by Dusty, who I hold in great esteem. Simple, easy, no stress.



Do not even hesitate, if you need to move house, pick up the phone and trust your belongings with Davis Removals. They are a really lovely family business, very personable, highly professional and truly know exactly what they are doing.

There are lots of shonky removalists out there who just hire a truck and get any Jo blow to move your stuff resulting in badly packed trucks, broken belongings and lost boxes. I should know, experienced it myself. Do not risk that. Davis Removals actually do this for a living, day in, day out and know their craft.

I can't thank you all enough for all of your amazing care with our belongings, for being a pleasure to deal with (as evidenced by us using your services for 4 interstate moves in 3 years) and your utmost professionalism.

I will always refer you to anyone needing to move.

I am letting customers know that from the inside of the company they dont care one bit about your possessions only your money

AVOID! Absolutely dishonest. The mover great bloke just wanna get that clear firstly, he did everything he could. The owner was extremely rude. They hired some inexperienced person with no commonsense to help the mover on the day, several of our items were damaged because of this individual. We were quoted for a 46 cubic truck, we were given a 32 cubic truck. We had paid for a larger truck and were given a smaller. We never jumped up and down about It we just accepted it and had to leave items behind. We paid for insurance to which now when we are trying to get the main damaged items fixed (we weren't even asking for everything that was damaged to be fixed just 2 items that were severely damaged) to be fixed which comes to a total of $419 to have repaired and replaced they want us to pay a $500 excess!!!! The damage is LESS THEN THAT. Dishonest and money hungry company. DO NOT USE THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Completely ripped off this family who are struggling to survive let alone being taken advantage of like this! All we want are our items repaired and replaced! We are just asking you repair/replace what your employee broke! (movers were also late on the day)
