I wish I had of seen the other google reviews before contacting Charltons because the experience I had was absolutely awful.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
Phoned to request a service for our split system as he was listed as authorised service provider on the manufacture website. Don was rude and short from the get go. He took my details and went to end the call. When I asked if he was going to book a time to come out, he laughed at me and said “I get 50 of these calls a day, I’ll let you know”
He then just showed up that afternoon without making sure I was home. He was rude to my sister in law who parked behind him in the drive.
He advised that he would need to order a part and then left. A week went past with no contact and no return calls.
I tried to call, left voice mail messages, and sent texts. No response. Once I was told he would get right back to me. Never did
I found out that the part he had ordered had arrived to his shop and that what he had ordered wasn’t even the right part for our system.
We have since had our unit fixed by someone else and the issue was not even close to what don said it was and didnt require the part he said it did.
I have still not heard back from him. The lack of communication and the absolute arrogance of this man, I am shocked that the business is still in operation. Clearly incompetent
