Andre from Icare Floor Sanding And Polishing is capable of poor, and unprofessional workmanship as witnessed by our building inspector, property manager, family and other tradespeople who worked on the renovation in our Brisbane home. Here is a cut and paste from our building inspectors report to us via email: "The floors have not been sanded and sealed to a professional finish - sanding has not been thorough and the sealing not applied evenly." - Dean C.

We were also sent pictures for evidence as we live overseas. After seeing this evidence on photo, we had asked Andre to amend the problem and gave him over 14 days which to-date, not only did he gave us the run-around, he denied and refused to do anything to fix the problem at hand. He's got our money now, so why should he bother to repair the problems right? It may be an inconvenience to take it further with QCAT and forward further complaints to QLD Fair trading, but justice and good shall prevail!!!!

We had Andre sand our floors, he is a polite gentleman however we have had numerous issues with our floor, leaving us with an expense greater to fix than initially outlayed. We were left with runs in our stairs, runs and uneven lacquer on the floor, nails and screws left exposed, mild scratches that were not sanded with portions not sanded properly.
