OK they finally paid after 6 month of relentless phones and emails

Autotrax customers beware you are dealing with dishonest people.
On Oct 25 I was hit from behind by a car belonging to Autotrax Elsternwick. The trailer I was towing has been damaged and is unrepairable. I was given by the driver a business card of the National Branch Manager and assurance that the damage will be quickly covered as he is driving the company car. In subsequent phone conversation and email I was assured that my costs will be paid promptly once I send an invoice issued to Autorax for the replacement trailer. The invoice was sent on Nov 30 last year. Since then the whole December and January I had string of excuses the guy is on holiday etc. From Feb. 19 after they requested my bank account details it is easier to transfer money than issue a cheque every week I hear from the National Account Manager that I will be paid the next Friday. How many Fridays have passed and I still have not been paid you can count yourself. The guy who is supposed to pay is now hiding (he is not in today, he will be later and later the same day he went on holiday to India). My email to all people involved is read (including by the MD) but not answered.
