ESS Boardstore

I want to give more than 2 stars but I cant. We went in to Ess at Erina to buy a new pair of ski boots last september, spent over half hour getting fitted by a young guy studying podietry who was going to check the Jindy store for my size and get back to me. Heard nothing. Went back in in Dec/ January, he was very apologetic,we spent another 20 mins or so and PROMISED to call us back that afternoon He took both our numbers, and guess what ? Heard NOTHING again. So now ill be taking my old boots to Canada next week. Its just basic customer service thats lacking, i can understand it happening once, but not twice.We really want to support local businesses, but not able to this time.Disappointed to say the least.

I was glad to finally use my credit note which was honoured by the store four years later. The faulty garment (cargo pants for skiing manufactured by Burton) that had been returned had had a warranty for repair or replace within 48 hrs, and although I do not understand why it took so long to sort out once the manufacturer had honoured the warranty, it has been finalised now. As it is approaching Xmas 2015 I was told I was not going to be able to use the credit until after they had located records after Xmas. Thanks to a friend buying something on the day, and three hours later in store, we finally brought this matter to conclusion. Thanks for my refund guys; it is an impressive sports store.
