Everton Plaza Medical Centre

Reception staff will not let you request a phone call from your personal doctor regarding medication. They want you to book and pay for another appointment. But with another doctor because your personal doctor isn't available for another month. Ridiculous.

The Doctors are great. The reception staff are awful and need instruction on basic communication skills A smile how a long way! The clinic charges $40 each time you need a script or $85 for anything else. The clinic badly needs a renovation

Absolutely disgusted by the terrible service offered by Everton Plaza Medical Centre in recent days. Rang for a new set of prescriptions days ago. When I called back, they demanded $30 for them, even though I hold a Health Care Card. I told the woman on the phone that I have a Healthcare card (which entitles me to be bulk billed) and she said it makes no difference. So I could have gone into the clinic, been bulk billed, wasted the doctor's time and exposed myself to COVID-19, but it would have been free. And they refused to post the scripts out. I sent a complaint via their website, but have had no response. Tonight, I have been on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get through. They are supposedly open until 8.00pm, but have not been answering the phone since 7.15pm. My calls have been put on hold for 10 minutes at a time, before going through to an answering service. The answering service has tried to put me through to the Clinic four times but the calls just keep getting disconnected. Absolutely appalled. I'm going to request my records be transferred elsewhere. If you can't get through when you need to what's the point?
