Dollars And Sense

I bought a backpack from Dollars & Sense on Saturday, 12 August 2023. On Wednesday, 23 August 2023, I noticed that one of the straps was almost detached from the bag. As I am 75, and in very poor health, I do not carry heavy loads. I took the bag back to Dollars & Sense today, Thursday 24 August 2023, and asked for a replacement or a refund. I was asked for the receipt but did not have it. I remembered the name of the young man who had served me as it was an interesting name, and I had shown the receipt to my daughter because of the name. I did have the tag from the backpack, showing the brand and other details. I had paid in cash. I consider it very bad service to sell such poor quality goods and refuse a refund when they are unusable within two weeks of purchase. I am well known at this shop as I go there more than once per week.
