Gassit Motor Cycles

I was skeptical about going here because the reviews. I am writing this review to make up for the bad ones. As a Dutch guy in Melbourne I arrived 2 months ago and bought a hyosung 650gv from gassit. For a fair 4k aud. Includes 3 months gearbox and engine warranty. He explained me the progress and took time for me and I could test drive it. It drove great. But the first week it had a starter motor problem. So they told me to bring it by. It got fixed in 2 days with a new part. Free of course. Has been driving great ever since. This week I wanted to install handlebar mirrors. But I couldn't undo the bolt. I went there and he took the bike for 10 min. Undid the bolt for me. For free. And I was ready to go again. Overall very clear and friendly person. I am not saying bad reviews are lies. But I had very pleasent experience. Safer then buying from Gumtree.

I bought a motorcycle about a month ago. After few days the motor stopped working. I asked Simon (Gassit Owner) to have a look but he charged me $300 for repairing the bike and said its not within grantee. He also didn't give me a receipt to claim tax.
Never deal with him again.

I given my scooter for road worthy. After two days waiting, the mechanic told me it needs only front tire and is waiting for that. After passing 4 days and keep calling them, they mentioned my bike need lots of money to get road worthy. They even didn't give me proper receipt or any documentation on what are the issues and charged me $99. They ripped off me. I never go to them again. Never trust their promises. Go to a proper mechanic for your major stuff.
