Toronto Hire Cars

I hired a car 2 days before so that when I got out of my coach(I had just done a long train trip) I would have a car to drive myself to my destination(my friends house). I hired a car so that my friend wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of picking me up but when I got off my coach there was no car! I waited for 20 mins before calling the operator, she said that they had “accidentally” double booked some of us and that I would be refunded. Long story short my friend had to pick me up and I didn’t get refunded.

Absolutely terrible service. We made a booking 2hrs prior to our arrival by train at the station and the train arrived on time - but no car. We waited 10 minutes and called to confirm they were coming and the operator stated the driver was here but we weren't (seriously?!!). She assured us a driver was on his way. The driver arrived and promptly took another customer, and called out to us that she booked first (her train had just pulled in) and he'd be back for us. By this stage 20 mins had elapsed. I phoned the operator again to express my displeasure and she said the prior customer had a standing booking. She also managed to tell me they were just sooooo busy with bookings. Too busy for myself, my husband and two small children it seems.
