I dropped my car off to get fixed. I had previously written a five star review due to my naivety. Malcolm is very friendly, offers reduced prices and drove me home after I dropped my car off. He also repaired it in the time he said he would. 6 months later I can see it was a paint over job. The paint has buckled badly along the bumper and I can see the two dent lines in the bumper still and the the paint drips. I can also still see the raw colour not eh edge so its safe to assume the bumper was painted over while still fixed to my car. When I picked up my car it was newly washed and to be honest I dint inspect it too much - my fault. If anything is indicative of quality it is the wearing of the work and it only took 6 months to see how badly it had been repaired. I went back to show him and he was not apologetic and was not at all surprised. He did offer to fix it again though. I did not take him up on his offer and would never return here as it is clearly a quick repair. Do not be fooled by the reviews.

I highly recommend Malcolm from GIA Smash Repairs in Five Dock. When I accidentally ripped my front bumper off the car, he had a prompt quote after coming to my place to inspect the damage. Communication was fantastic, you always knew where you stood and what was happening.
What I appreciated most apart from the excellent workmanship, my car is like brand new with both bumpers fixed and the honesty and integrity with which Malcolm works with is something that is lacking in general in todays times. Exceptional service, communication, workmanship on the car. I can only highly recommend Malcolm, will exceed your expectations.
