Whilst I can say that they do have a SMALL range of beautiful Opals, my experience with choosing an opal and having my piece made by their in house (apparently Incredible) jeweler was nothing but disappointing and highly expensive for what was a massive fail. They don't exactly have a jeweler that will sketch your ideas for you, merely the retail staff do a poor sketch in pen on a crappy post-it and send it away for interpretation. The piece I had made fell apart in a couple of months, to later find out it was never stamped with a gold quality stamp and to be told they made the mistake offered to fix it. Credit to them they fixed it by using another jeweler in Melbourne, the piece again came back very average. Soldering was still showing on the joins and I did take it to another jeweler to have a professional opinion to be told that my $2000 had been wasted and the piece needed completely re-doing. I was at risk of the opal falling out and being lost once AGAIN! The store would not take responsibility for this and after arguments and arguments I am now having to have the piece melted down, which can not be used because the soldering spoils the gold and am having to have the piece re-made. ANOTHER $1000 mind you, I was way over priced the first time. I had this piece checked by 4 jewelers whom all shook their heads at such shameful craftsmanship. I finally found another jeweler here in Queensland who is now sketching colored sketches, we have meetings on ideas and top quality gold is being used. To what was a bad taste in my mouth over a beautiful stone I once bought it is now being rectified the way it should have been by Fremantle Opals. My advice is DON'T GET ANYTHING MADE BY THIS SHOP, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND OVERPRICED FOR TERRIBLE QUALITY
