I have a very anxious dog, the vet prescribed Valium for her which I administer when needed.

Dogtainers told me they would not administer Valium without a letter from the vet, they did not tell me I could not administer it to her before her flight.

Before they arrived to pick her up, I gave her some Valium. I told Darren this when he arrived, he then proceeded to yell at me and insulting me in my driveway for over 5 minutes. I kept apologising and was trying to explain that I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to administer it to my dog. I explained to him that I was only following the directions of my vet.

He then threatened not taking my dog even when I had suggested signing a waver if he was concerned about the dog becoming unwell during the flight.

I would not use this company again. When paying $1600 for a flight for my dog from Cairns to Melbourne, I certainly hoped for professionalism which I did not receive.
