Craig's Gardening, Yard Tidy and Handyman Service

Provided very erratic and incompetent service. Sloppy work (threw around gypsum on driveways, tiles, etc); unmindulness (covered up the drain under the tap, with soil; when requested to clear it, he cleared the mud, but broke the wire protecting screen over the drain, and threw the lumps of soil around, nearby! He had been requested to prepare a large area with compost, and gypsum: he left the area lumpy; didnt clear the grass where he had poisoned, but planted the trees, there, and in the major garden bed, without levelling out the ground! He came in drabs and drabs. The first day he kept texting he was going to be late, and ended up coming in the afternoon only for 2 hours! Next day he came in my absence, to prepare a bed for Murryas. On my return I found some weeds still on the soil, whereas, branches of my Jasmin plant were chopped off, instead of trailing back up the trellis behind (or just leave them!). When requested to give a whole day, which he agreed to, he still left after 4 hours, without informing. When asked by text when he was returning from lunch, he texted back, he wasnt, that day, as he had an appointment, but that he would return the following day!. The next day he emailed that he would only come to look at the ground cover that had been poisoned. When I emailed tasks I needed done, he complained, the texts and email took up his time! I sacked him after that, informing him of his inconsistency and disinclination for communication. Since then, the other Companies I have called to look at the job, said the plants Craig planted (4 hrs worth of work that I paid him for!) will have to come out, for the bed to be levelled, and the plants to be replanted!
