Should I accept a generic medicine?

The pharmacist will be able to demonstrate whether a generic has equivalence with another brand medicine. In most cases, an equivalent generic has the same medicinal ingredients and is cheaper. But the important factor is patient comfort and compliance. If a patient is uncertain or otherwise uncomfortable with a particular brand, the pharmacist is likely to support them staying with an equivalent that increases the liklihood of them taking the medicine as directed by their doctor.
