Called to check stock availability for a black iPhone 6S screen replacement, was advised it was in stock and on hold; went in the next day and was told the part was not available and would need to be ordered; went in a week later and had the repair completed, then purchased a screen protector from another store. The screen protected didn't fit properly, the edges didn't stick down correctly and was asked if I had the screen replaced at one of those 'cheap kiosks' in the supermarket. I was told that the angle of the edges of the screen are not the same as the OME part and screen protectors won't fit to this screen properly. If I had known this I would have spent the extra time and money to get the screen repaired at Apple. It's disappointing that even though a staff member explained despite the part not being OME it was the same, which is obviously not true. Due to these small differences between parts, some functionality is lost with the screen protector on, mainly to do with keyboard. I raised this issue with the store, they removed the screen and replaced it with my cracked screen and refunded the cost. Customers should think about this before having your repairs carried out at this store.
