Ultra Tune

Tim and his team installed 2 x new gas injectors and six new spark plugs, my wife collected the car. Her drive home lasted no more than a kilometre before the engine started to play up, resulting in a loss of brakes and steering. Luckily she did not cause any accidents. The vehicle was retuned to Ultratune Gawler. Over the next few days Tim and his team could not diagnose what the problem was, he called upon the Holden garage just up the road for assistance, they offered to rebuild the top of the engine, or fit a second hand engine, they could offer no answer to what the cause of the problem was.

The vehicle was towed to another mechanic, who removed the cylinder heads (Tim and his team could not remove the cylinder heads because they did not have the correct tooling) and located the source of the problem, a washer had become lodged between the cylinder head and a valve! When I informed Tim of this he denied that his workshop was responsible, and had no proof that they were at fault. He denied that they had worked on the number 1 cylinder although they had fitted new spark plugs. Before they had worked on the car the only issue was a misfire when running on gas. In addition to parting with $1350 for the injectors and spark plugs, the rework on the engine cost a substantial amount. Tim and his team accept no responsibility for what happened.
