Gladesville Sporties

I’m a frequent visitor to the club and my food experiences were not good. Last week two of the seniors at my table ordered fish and chips, it was dark brown and greasy. They ate the chips and salad and left the fish. I was told it was horrible. This week I ordered rainbow trout and avocado/ broad bean mash. The fish was the smallest skinniest piece of fish I have ever seen and the mash too salty to eat and I like a lot of salt. I complained to the chef and he just said sorry. The two seniors at our table ordered children’s spaghetti bolognaise, it had a large bowl of pasta with about a tablespoon of sauce. Needless to say they each ate about one-third and left the remaining flavourless pasta. The coffee and cake costs twice as much as it does at Vikings Dundas. A much better club with cheaper, better food. I won’t be going again until this catering crowd is replaced. I attend to play trivia most Thursdays but will be going elsewhere to play trivia in future.

This is a good club and I always like the food here. I've been coming here for a while
