I had spent more than $10,000 with suburban going back a few years doing a heating system for my pool and so thought it was logical to drop in and ask for help when I had a filter failure. Was quoted $1600 for the job, gave all my details and locked booking in - at the same the guy who helped said it was good as they weren’t too busy.
On the day of the booking, the guy who helped me rang up and said ‘the manager has said your place is too far away for us to do the work and we are really busy anyway! I said ‘so what you’re telling me Is that he just can’t be bothered doing it for me’ and he said ‘yeah guess so mate’.
So that’s the sort of after sales service you get from these jokers - a $1600 job ain’t enough to line their pockets and they don’t stand behind their own work! Avoid!
