Can you provide a quote?

Absolutely! Whether it be a site inspection or you are able to provide floor plans for an upcoming build, we are more than happy to provide a quote.


What does an annual service include?

Annual service includes, return air filter clean, condensation drain clean, zone operation checks, air flow checks, gas pressure and electrical checks, roof inspection (duct work), reverse cycle operation checks and air sanitising.


How much does a general service cost?

Our yearly service cost is $220 including GST. Any additional pricing on the day will always be quoted and approved before moving forward.


The zone is on, but no air flow?

Possible faulty zone motor where the zone has not responded to zone switch command.


Do your electricians clean up after their work?

The best great old fashion service.

Went on line looking for company to check out out dead air con.

Email Preferred Air with problem. Ashleigh called back and teed up technician to visit, checked out unit, got back with two quotes, replace PC boards or replace unit. Decided to replace the unit, John came with his brother on time no mucking around, with in a hour the new unit was up and running. No mess total professional job could not fault their service.

If you have a problem with your air con call Preferred you won't be disappointed.

Couldnt Be Happier - Excellent Service from an Excellent Team

We are extremely pleased with the overall service and presentation of this company. We had previously used Preferred Air just for a Service Call of our existing unit, so when that unit was now not working properly I didnt hestitate to contact them again. After determining the compressor had blown and it was more economical to replace the whole unit, John gave me a quote within 24 hours, and when I wanted further details, suggestions, and other options, he was happy to discuss, accomodate, and write up further quotes for me.



John, you and all the boys were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we were impressed with the level of professionalism, work ethic, and respect shown by all of you.



The way your team operated, and the care and respect shown in our home, was noted and greatly appreciated. Starting from initially dealing with Ashleigh over the phone with her lovely demeanour and willingness to assist, the boys courteous and respectful manner in which they conducted themselves during the install, to the care they took around our property and with our furnishings, and John, your readiness to offer advice and other options, made dealing with Preferred Air Conditioning an easy and pleasurable experience, and we would not hesitate to highly recommend your services to others.

Genuine Review - anyone who want to use the service of Preferred Air Conditioning needs to read

My air conditioner was not working properly. Due to the 5 star review for the Preferred Air conditioning, we called John to repair it. However, after the repair, upon turning on the A/C for the first time, the problem remained unfixed and there was no cool air conditioning.



John sent some workmen to check and claimed it was a new leak. However, there is no proof on my side that verifies what he said was correct. The existing leak may have been caused by his inappropriate repair or unfinished work. Even though it was a new leak, it may be still related to the repair because his workman left, when we turned it on, there was no cool air conditioning. The condition was the same before and after his repairman came to fix the leakage problem. Nevertheless, if Preferred Air Conditioning claims that they care about customer service,they should repair it again because their last repair failed to deliver any meaningful result. We paid $400 and now it is completely wasted because the problem in the air conditioner is still there. I had already made John aware that I would not request further repairs if he could fix it again this time as his workmen were here in my place. But he refused.



Nevertheless, what made us even more upset was John's accusation of my wife being unclam and rude. He even hung up the phone while she, as a customer, was talking to him. His repairman and I were both present and attest that my wife spoke to John in a calm and reasonable manner. She was merely reporting to him facts and how we felt about the result not being delivered. As we are laymen, we cannot tell if his explanation was true or biased. However, John was offended, hung up the phone and ordered the workers to leave immediately. How could a customer caring business operator behave like this? Is their 5 star on Yellow Pages Reviews fake? We trust the 5 stars and hired John for this job. I experienced a lack of customer service on how Preferred Air Conditioning has treated us in this issue.



Despite John's repeating his so-called explanation and lip service of trying to help, the reality was he hung up on the phone call and ordered his workmen left immediately.



Ashleigh stated in her email that "we are happy to accommodate you in either fixing the problem or replacing the system with new but there will be a charge that follows this". Was she asking me to re-hire Preferred Air Conditioning to fix the same problem? Hasn't she thought about how a customer feels and thinks? Why would I need to pay them again for the same unfixed problem?



The quote was $1,385.00 including GST, but what is the point in hiring them again if I have to replace a new system? What makes them think that I require their service as there are so many competing air conditioning companies? Why would I use one I paid $400 and delivered no result to work for me again?



That was what they meant to "help us" by giving us a new quote. In fact, they think I am the idiot who can get more business from.

Excellent Service!

Was very impressed with the Preferred Air Con Team!

After sending though numerous quote requests to other companies, Ashleigh was quick to respond & get a quote organised for me.

Within a week of getting the quote, our air con was installed. The guys worked fast, effectively & cleaned up after. Would not hesitate to recommend them!

Amazing company to work with!

John and his team were very reasonable - they advised me genuinely on the number of aircons required for my commercial property.



They didn’t make any ridiculous offers (like 8 aircons for 1 room, I got a quote like this from other guys) and they had the Mitsubishi aircons I was after. The huge advantage is that they do the required electrical job as well so I didn’t have to look for an electrician.

I had to delay the installation multiple times and they were very patient (thank you for this John!).



On the day of installation, I couldn’t stay on-site because of COVID restrictions so I just opened a door for them and then left straight away. The guys had done all work and sent me the photos when it was all done. I visited the site the next day – the aircons looked great and worked well, everything was neat and clean!
