Sengul Fencing

After bragging that his work was top quality, I engaged Chris to install a new fence. The quality of his work is absolutely awful. The fence is crooked, there's huge random gaps underneath the fence (seriously, up to 20cm), and the posts sticky up at significantly different heights far above the actual fence.

Just over 12 months later, my new steel fence is wonky and starting to fall over. Upon investigating, I discovered Chris' fence footings were almost entirely sand with a slight hint of concrete – the footings were so weak they were crumbling apart in my fingers!

Every aspect of Chris's work was bad, from the lack of skill and care to the extremely dodgy shortcuts.

To top it off, when Chris drove off at the end of the day, I discovered he had opened his driver's door and dumped all of his take-away rubbish in the middle of our street right outside our home.
