Very disappointing to see the results of the fencing work at a friends house. The fence was not straight, nails missing on pickets, the job was not completed as quoted. The owner was rude and abusive to the client, I was horrified to see this behaviour when the security footage was replayed to me.

Aaron and the team were absolutely amazing. So happy with how our fences turned out. Very happy. Thank you guys

DARREN NEEDS A LESSON ON GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS.

My problem was the condition on many palings. They were marked with extensive BLACK marks. He referred me to McKAY TIMBER, his supplier, as in 6 months they would all go grey. My response was that he or his staff should inspect and require quality materials to work with. He would not visit to view the site and arrogantly told me to pay the Bill.

I’m back, 2 years later.



Still in the same rental. The property manager hired the same business to do the work on a different fence. This time was even worse than the last!



Garden beds throughout the garden mashed to mud, concrete left everywhere for me to clean up. I was not informed that the work was to be done, and they rocked up on the property without my permission, or my neighbours permission, and the property manager was not even aware they were coming when they did. They lied to the property manager about calling me for permission to work, and what’s worse, during that lie, they said that since I didn’t pick up, they just proceeded with the work without permission.



Got home from work to angry neighbours, who had been abused by the workers when my neighbours asked them to leave their property, and also causing damage to their garden.



This business is a joke, don’t use them. There’s a reason they don’t have a strong online presence, it makes it easier for them to avoid terrible reviews. Hopefully this time is enough for my rental manager to never use them again.

Bad quality work... nothing is level. Arrogant owner. Still finding screws and bits of steel in my yard from the lazy workers. The gate still opens. Probably my own fault going for the cheapest quote.The best part is the handle and closing mechanism which I put on with my wife.

No contact regarding problems and abuse you if not happy with work

Terrible workmanship by so called tradesman, poor communication, shody work, fence is not close to being straight. sharp edges left exposed on colourbond, the posts used are too small to fix a gate to. Too many issues to detail, oh and dont believe the High Pages reviews, as they remove the bad ones

i tried so hard to not write this review but i’m completely gobsmacked how this place is still operating

what a embarrassment to tasmania and the australian way of life this business is , some people just don’t know how to give up gracefully, please just retire already and stop F…ing decent people around !!! Karmer is a dish best served cold and you all live in Antartica!!! i could say lots but my energy is worth more then their word !!!

Most unprofessional tradesman I have ever seen, if they could be called that. Poor quality work completed by what appears to be subcontractors at best. Darren is aggressive and abusive when confronted and asked for resolutions. Wouldn't even return to review the shoddy work but pressured and threaten elderly neighbour with legal action into paying without my knowledge. Doesn't answer emails or calls. While he will promise plenty, the work appears to be carried out by subcontractors who have not been informed about the job. They left gaps and poor quality work on half the property. When I reported the same to Darren he promised he would sort it and be onsite. Unfortunately this didn’t happen and it took numerous phone calls to get Darren onsite (great communication prior to the job but a horrible communicator once he starts, except when it comes to invoicing). Darren's quality of work was not at all better. He left posts unfinished, panels on the wrong way and big gaps under the fence. Worst he put in the wrong sized panels and refused to replace them as he “knew “what he was doing”, yes it was that bad an excuse. In the end I had to ask him to leave my property and pay someone else to finish the fence. Save yourself the hassle and find a different professional fencer rather than hire Darren and his subcontractors.
