Darren and team came and built front fence and double gate. Looks amazing couldn’t be happier

The neighbour and I hired Kayes Fencing to put up boundaries fence between us. The job has done on Tuesday. Suddenly one of the guy trespassed our property on Thursday morning, jumped over the fence into our deck. My husband tried to chase him but he left already with the van. And in the afternoon, the same guy was about to jumped over our fence again going to our deck but then I caught him and he asked to use our electricity. I told him the job has done 2 days ago but he said it hasnt done yet. So I gave him my permission, turned out he is using our electricity to do somebody else house job. I asked them to stop what they were doing otherwise I would call the police and the challenged me. So I rang the police for trespassing and was about to steal our electricity without our consent anw if I didnt catch him jumping over our fence. Its true they did the job for us which has done couple days ago. But it doesnt give them rights to trespass our property as they are pleased and stealing our electricity!!!

The quality of the work? Standard.

The professionalism? Poor. The owner is arrogant and didnt even apologise for trespassing and stealing our electricity. Also put the wood material in our neighbour's driveway for few days, no duty of care or OH&S.

AS the cost of the boundary fence was to be shared between owners I obtained several quotes. The neighbor preferred the cheapest quote so I went along with her.

Not an easy job as the existing fence was half hidden by overgrown shrubbery however the troupes arrived and the old fence removed in no time. The replacement fence looks great and included a low log retaining wall.

Couldn't be happier with the end result and have no hessitation in recommending them for fencing work.

Very very angry that I paid mega bucks for the worst job I’ve ever had done at my place. I put my trust in Darren and his lads and have had no end of issues.

The job was orchard netting, the brief was to keep my chooks in and everything else out, so far rabbits, parrots and my dogs have got in. Darrens response, “sorry”, when I told him the netting wasn’t up to scratch he said he will pass my feedback to the manufacturer.

I’m so angry that I wasted thousands on a worthless job that doesn’t even come close to doing the job.

I’m in a rental, and unfortunately did not get a day in what company would be replacing the fences on the property.



I’m an avid gardener, and again, due to being in a rental, I’m restricted to the existing garden beds for growing. Kaye’s has absolutely no regard for plants on the fence line, dozens of plant were trodden into the mud, even though some were up to 2-3 feet tall. They butchered a couple of hundred dollars worth of plants, but hey, the fence had been done right at least...



I don’t recommend them if you care about what’s growing in your back yard.

We have used them three times after being referred by a friend. For the last job, they spent one day removing the old fence (and the ivy that destroyed it) and concreting in new posts, then a morning attaching rails and palings on the following week. They did an excellent job and the staff were courteous. When my partner noticed a damaged paling, they happily pulled it and the adjacent boards off to replace it. They only lost one star because we had to ring them to find out when they were coming back. Otherwise no problems.

Simple job that needed to be completed took over a month. Large amounts of concrete and mess left around my property. Workers never called to say when they would be attending and multiple times didn't even know they were at the property when I left for work and couldn't because of the mess in my driveway needing to be moved. Would turn up before 7am to start work without my knowledge and when the boss would leave the younger guys working and they would finish up roughly 10 minutes later with terrible excuses to leave early. If they did show up not even a courtesy knock to see if I was home, would just start work. Terrible work rate, shocking moral ethics for a business and very unhappy with he lack of communication and commitment to a job that should have taken no more than 2-3 days.
