Decided after bad experiences with several local restraurants we decided to try this place. The ability to view a menu, determine if it was also byo and various other factors were not possible due to very limited exposure on the web or social media. We took the chance anyway.
Service was average. Staff were nice and polite but need more training ie 10 mins to attract the attention of a waitress to order wine. 7 people eating pizza at our table but only 2 plates provided.
Pizzas were nice, they forgot the chilli on the mexican pizza and another pizza was very salty, but edible. Third pizza was nice and the toppa was as good as a one gets. Prices were on the high side of reasonable, but I have paid worse.
Main couses. They forgot (or were very stingy) with the chicken in one pasta dish as it could not be found, but other than that dissappointment the meals were very nice, amply portioned and value for money.
The wine list was all product made or owned by local wineries. Prices were probably the best I am aware of in Griffith dining places and the selection available was all good wine. First time I have ever recalled not being critical of the markups placed by various establishments.
Overall I would recommend this establishment to all my friends and visitors. In terms of value for money I would place Giuseppes Restaurant & Bar in my top two places to eat locally if italian fare is what you are seeking.
