Belmont Service Centre

I removed the trye from my VW Golf & took it in for a puncture repair.

Picked up the tyre the next day at a cost of $40.

I drove to Melbourne and the tyre pressure was down to 14 psi.

I contacted them the following day and explained to them that the tyre was still loosing pressure. They asked to take the car back, which I did around lunch time the following day, after driving back from Melbourne. I explained to them that I need it back ASAP as I needed to go back to Melbourne. The mechanic said that he would look at it when he could find the time. I again explained the urgency as I needed to get back to Melbourne ASAP and he virtually shrugged his shoulders and said he was busy.

I said that it was not good enough and that he showed poor customer service and that I would not be coming back again. He said fine.

I have always tried to support the small local businesses in the area and I am disappointed at the lack of empathy shown by the mechanic.

PLUS we got a 2nd (much older) car on recommendation from Neville with not a scratch on it, it has run perfectly for 2+ years with servicing from Geelong's Premier Mechanical Geniuses.

Our daughter now has her car fully serviced there & I ALWAYS send Neville new customers..........HEY - I should get a Referral Fee.....
