Taxis Of Hamilton

The taxis drivers are nice people. But automated booking system is very frustrating for older people. They now have to depend on others to book their taxis. This takes away their independence and freedom. Sometimes completely missing appointments because they cannot use the phone service. It’s not user friendly for some people

The automated system that has been applied is a disgrace. Such a shame. The drivers are so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they are the ones that have to listen to clients that are unhappy with the phone service. It’s not their fault.

My rating is based on the booking service NOT THE DRIVERS

Dear Hamilton Taxis you new automatic phone service is terrible. "3" times I rang and asked for a taxi to collect me from IGA Lonsdale street Hamilton vic and three times the computer asked me to be more specific. Shame on you your system is severely floored. Not everyone has smart phones or can book on line so the phone is the only way. I feel sorry for Hamilton's elderly that don't have accessibility to computers or smart phones. Please put a human back on the phone line. I had a trolley full of shopping from IGA and my only alternative was to wheel the trolley home way up Digby road as it was footy grandfinal day 2022.

Sadly AGAIN we had to wait for a wheelchair access taxi that was pre booked. Late again. This is extremely stressful for our elderly parent and ourselves - waiting to go to a medical procedure. The taxi STAFF are BRILLIANT, always cheerful and helpful. Recently having to deal with stressed clients . Please change your booking service back to the way it was - the auto system that goes thru a National data base is USELESS. We like the old system that worked and CARED .

Tues 2 nd August,my 95 year old mum waited for an hour for a precooked wheelchair taxi and in the end I needed to cancel her appointment.

They were very punctual waited pun tually between appointments

We were very impressed with the service this afternoon in Hamilton. The driver was punctual, courteous and competent. Our mother/mother in law was in a wheelchair and the taxi was great to get her to her appointment and return to her aged care residence. Will definitely use this service again

everytime they say we're coming right away and you wait half an hour or more only to ring them back and they say I'll be five minutes
