JB Quality Air Conditioning Service

I am writing this review on behalf of a 98-year-old woman, and as a warning to anyone considering this business.



After the initial service, we had another qualified evaporative air-conditioning technician attend and inspect the roof. He immediately identified several concerning issues — including that the previous technician had removed a fuse and disconnected the water supply, leaving the system completely non-functional. He confirmed these actions were unnecessary and inappropriate.



Leaving a 98-year-old woman without cooling, especially in hot weather, poses a serious safety risk. She had no way of understanding why her air-conditioner no longer worked, which made the situation distressing and extremely worrying for her and her family.



The original technician also presented “damaged parts” that did not belong to her model, raising further concerns about the accuracy and honesty of the service provided.



It is deeply disappointing to see a small local business conduct itself in this way, particularly when working with elderly and vulnerable clients who rely on trustworthy service.



Based on this experience, I cannot recommend JB Quality Air Conditioning.

Have been using these guys for years. Honest & reliable. Highly recommend.

So I read a review on here from 9 years ago and the same happened to me ! Not happy about it.



Next time quote the repair price before 'fixing' it. The job took 5 mins ?



You actually have losted a regular customer. If you where to simply quote me first, good. Then I will be the one making the decision to pay and repair or not.



But since I saw the previous review 9 years ago.. it speak volumes !

Today I call him for fix the water leak, the problem was only need to replace hydraulic dump pump took only 2 minutes and he charged $275.00 . I find out theprice from Bonaire which is only $155 with one year warranty . When he was replacing he didn't tell me the price to replace the parts, he replace very quickly and make the invoice ,I can replace it myself that's not a technical issue. Not happy at all too much price. Very expensive. Ask him price before he fixing anything. Not reliable person.
