Unfortunately I am required to provide a rating to submit this review. Do yourself a favour and take your money elsewhere ... The camper trailer we hired was not fit for purpose.
We hired one of Nortrail's Camper Trailers in September 2016.
The tent leaked like a sieve the very first night, during light rain, drenching my children's sleeping bags.
We rearranged the sleeping arrangements for the second night. Again, during moderate rainfall, the tent leaked heavily, with 5 separate points of failure.
As the tent was unusable in the condition it was provided, I applied seam sealant to the affected areas.
With our trip ruined and the weather expected to worsen, we returned to Sydney and returned the camper trailer early.
The proprietor accused me of damaging the camper and withheld close to half of the $500.00 bond. He notified my of this via email a week later.
I replied to his email. My email was ignored.
I phoned him the following day to discuss the fact his camper was not fit for purpose. I had barely spoken a sentence before he began to abuse and threaten me.
During his abusive tirade he yelled "Camping is not a wet weather leisure activity".
Apparently you should only use his camper trailers during dry weather.
