Just hope you don't need a follow up service.

After having a good experience with them a few years ago, we called AJs to come and sort a blocked drain. They came, had a crack at it but ultimately failed to clear it. We called and asked them to come back, and my wife was caught very off guard by a second invoice! She paid it against her better judgement, and yet the issues remained.

On the third call they offered to come and do a "quick fix" on a Saturday and then come back later in the week with a camera to get to the bottom of the issue. Not only did the "quick fix" actually make the issue worse (the bathroom now smells of sewage) , but they then handed us a THIRD invoice for nearly double of all costs so far. We refused to pay this one and demanded they fix the issue, and they have refused.

They claim to have a "12 month guarantee" on their website, and the guy on the phone had the cheek to say that this was "only when they've agreed to it after a job". I'll be referring them to the ACCC for false advertising and failure to honour their warranty, and if you're reading this I recommend avoiding them.
