Chugg Grant Plumbing

....we found grant Chugg a very good firm to deal with, they made a time to visit and they arrived at that time. The plumber (Ash) went straight to work, explaining as he went exactly the problem and what he was doing, friendly courteous service. We highly recommend them.

I was not told of the payment due for travel to my house which is 20 minutes from Launceston. They charged me full plumbers rate for 40 minutes each way. When I went to fit the shower fittings the brass thread stuck out of the wall 35mm. When I complained they stated just cut it off with a hacksaw. Great service after me spending $867 for what amounted to really 4 hours work and a few minor parts. I am 71 and thats how they treat the elderly.

The proprietor was not only comfortable to charge me (a little old lady) for a plumber to come and see the job - some $200 - he was also comfortable with implementing the charge after the visiting plumber said it was free. Several times.



In addition, he was comfortable with attributing that plumber two hours for the quote. Two full hours. The property was 30 kms away from chugg's office. It took a full hour to drive 30 kms and another hour to get back. Allegedly.

My recent experience with Grant Chugg plumbing was great.
We had a Skylight installed. The 2 workers who did the job were very thorough. There was no mess to clean up as they used appropriate material, so not to make a mess. The skylight is great and give so much natural light to our hall way.
Would highly recommend them for this type of installation.
