BEWARE!

Our experience with ‘Kitchen Works’ was extremely stressful primarily due to very poor customer relations and communication skills with the owners. There were too many issues over the course of four months to go into so here are the main ones:

- Lack of detailed plans and inconsistent measurements given. Both the electrician and plumber put things in the wrong place during the ‘rough in’ as the ‘plans’ were confusing

- Many things that were discussed were never written down or documented so there was confusion as to what we were actually getting

- Contract was sketchy, and no payment plan given

- FULL payment was demanded before delivery and installation- told ‘no payment, no delivery”.

- Delivery- several items were missing and others incorrect. Took another 5 weeks before correct items delivered

- Measurements shown on the final ‘plan’ were changed without consultation with us. This resulted in overhead cupboards that were wider than planned so now my husband hits his head every time he uses the sink.

- Overhead cupboards were sagging due to insufficient screws to hold the weight

- Whenever we tried to discuss these issues with the owners they either didn’t answer the emails or when phoned they never took on board any responsibility

- Once payment was given they showed no interest or care, they didn’t even come out to see the kitchen. The owner came once after rough in because we asked him to as there were problems.

A totally awful experience!!
