Large job more than just below standard. Contractor wouldn't respond regarding rectification. Registered his defective work with QBCC governing body as work was over $3300 threshold and no Home Warranty Insurance and no Contract in accordance with guidelines. Notification of Offence has been submitted to QBCC.

This gentleman seemed fine at first. Showed up for the quote. Stated work on the day and finished when he said he would. I felt it was overcharged but thought his work would be excellent and would improve the value of my house. Unfortunately his workmanship was appauling. Some areas were insufficiently sanded before applying sealer which means it has to be all done again. There were uneven and scratched areas, it looked like he spent about 30mins per coat each time. Extremenly dissapointing. Im now seeking another tradesperson to fix it properly and its going to cost me double. Make up your own mind about giving David your business.
