The Skin & Mole Clinic

I recently went to the Skin and Mole Clinic in Joondalup. The staff were very friendly. The doctor was very professional taking time to explain what she was doing. I was seen on time and the staff made sure that my follow up appointments were all at times that fitted in with my work. The overall experience was very good.

I booked an appointment for 3pm which i had to take time off work unpaid to be there, i arrived 10 minutes early to be curious, at 3.20 i asked if there was a delay and how much longer would it be as my wife starts work at 4 and i have to look after my new born baby, i was told he was dealing with someone and i am next in line, 3.30 i ask again as i have to leave in 15 minutes and was told it would be any time now, 3.40 the doctor comes out and calls somebody else in who had only been there 10 minutes, 3.45 i told them to cancel my appointment as they were being rude and i had been sat here for nearly 1 hour, the old lady behind the counter just smirked as if i was out of order as i walked out, they were clearly behind, instead of upsetting all the other patients for the rest of the day it looks like they got back on track by letting people in after me so there would only be one annoyed patient.
They were expecting $85 from me to check some dodgy looking moles, if i had been seen i should have been offered a discount, i lost wages to be there for nothing.
Not once did i receive an apology, i did not receive a call after i left my the doctor who held me up neither at the very leased did i receive an email. What i got for my time at this unprofessional clinic was to loose pay, be kept waiting for 45 minutes and then made to feel like i was in the wrong for expecting my 3 pm appointment to be within 20 minutes of my booking time, they clearly care more about packing patients in and the money that comes with it, rather than patient care, i just hope my moles that need checking are not serious, i now have to go to the city to be checked!
