Kariong Medical Centre

There are multiple experiences. Recently I was told that there were no appts for 2 weeks. I looked online and there were plenty. I got one the next day. When I was waiting for a result, which was causing me anxiety, the receptionist told me I think your Dr will just leave. You wont get your results even though you have an appt. Too bad. They are so uncaring and so rude when you call. But also give you misinformation. Kariong medical was a lovely small caring practice 20 years ago. I don't know what has happened there but they have the wrong type of people to be working with vulnerable people. The worst receptionist is well known. I get anxious as soon as she answers. I couldn't believe she told me no appts when there were plenty. How do you complain to the practice manager when the receptionists have access to your personal records

I have been going for years and really love the doctors here, but the reception staff are so rude and demanding over the phone. Once I even was asked why I needed to see the doctor and what my issue was.... Thats not any of their business to be asking in depth questions about my medical condition! I always dread calling to make an appointment because you never know how your going to be treated on the other end!
I put up with it because I love my doctor there.

I have been attending this medical center for 7 years and the admin staff think they have the right to be rude to patients when one arrives late due to unavoidable circumstances... they need to be retrained in customer service and show some respect towards patients and consideration they choose to work there I didn't choose to be sick !
