Keilor Park Fencing

They were hired through my neighbour's landlord because I was told they'd be cheaper than my option (they weren't) and I WISH I had fought for my option. What follows is me having to rectify EVERYTHING that a good tradie would have picked up one.



1. Telling me the job would take two days because they would need to visit the tip. The remnants of the fence were left in my yard from 9am day one to the end of day 2. My grass is still missing in entire sections.



2. They asked me to move my chicken coop so they can get to the last segment of fence. I moved it. They called 8am day 1 to tell me that they couldn't fit so they would put the palings on my neighbours side. That's fine all good.



3. I unbolted my side gate from the fence post for the demolition (and to make their life easier). They didn't align it with the new fence post so now there's a 200mm gap between my side gate and the actual fence. Big enough that my dog can slip through. Something they should've picked up on and altered.



4. I received calls at work (I work in a lab and can't easily answer my phone) to ask me to pay before the job was done. I said I'll try but I was working and wouldn't be able to pay by 12pm day 1. Because I went straight to my second job I didn't have enough time to pay. I also thought it was odd that I was being asked to pay BEFORE the job was even halfway completed. I then received two calls after 6pm asking me to pay, and another text the next morning at 7am because I hadn't sent the receipt.



When this was brought up to them they claimed it wasn't their responsibility.

I ask for a quote and a guy named Charlie came extremely rude and disrespectful I highly think he is in the wrong trade because he has no personality and doesn't no how to treat clients wheather the job is small or big . For less than a meter he was going to charge a 80 year old sick lady $800.00 and talked to him self going towards his vehicle and very loudly spoke out it was wasting is time coming out . The lady wasn't asking for a rood guy like Charlie to be so roodly out spoken just need a friendly service considering they are the same age.

Great work, the job was done quickly and it was done well
