Grainger S & D Plumbing & Drainage

I can't recommend S and D Grainger Pluming enough.. one afternoon notice water leaking from the outside of my red brick house. Got on to Denise from Grainger pluming which was very friendly to deal with, Shane was quick to arrive and knew exactly where the leak was coming from. A burst pipe from my bathroom which didn't take him long to fix. Now I use them for all my pluming needs and recommend them to everyone.

Asked this business for a quote, received it by email, asked them to explain the quote as I did not know why the quote was so high as I didn't realise extra work was required, I sent an email from myself and my husband saying I was sure they had a reason for their pricing but I didn't know anything about plumbing and was sure they had a valid reason. I didn't ask them to lower their price however I asked them to explain it. I got an email back giving half an explanation and being told to go find another quote if I was dissatisfied as they were unable to do it cheaper - at no stage did I ask them to drop their price. But I am annoyed that they told me up front to go and find another quote.
I then questioned why the extra work was required and was patronised for asking the question because he explained to my husband when he seen him at the house. My husband probably forgot to tell me due to our son being in isolation at hospital very unwell at the time so it was the last thing on our mind. When I complained that I felt their emails seemed unprofessional as they should be more than happy to explain this even if it was my husband and they also shouldn't be encouraging me to find someone else they suddenly refused service.
