Green Acres is a medium length, challenging private course on land that is in the Yarra river valley. I like it for the well maintained greens and the use of river gums to provoke intelligent positioning of the ball and shot making. After a lot of rain it stays wet because it is next to the river and has a clay base that is hard to drain. One thing I don't like about it is fallen gum leaves can make it hard to find balls later in the day. If you are considering this course you might also consider LaTrobe or Kew that are adjacent.
