AAA 24 Hour Computer Assist

We had a terrible experience with Data Recovery Express in March / April 2015. We took our drive in for a free initial inspection, which took approximately 2 weeks. Data Recovery Express then got back to us and said it would by $396 to proceed with the recovery process. I emailed them to confirm in writing that this meant that the data would be recovered and agreed for them to proceed. This took almost another two weeks and then they sent through an email saying that it would be a further (additional) $1900 to recover our data.

After our dealings with Data Recovery Express, we undertook a Google search and found various reviews about this company from people who had a similar experience to us. We considered taking them to the small claims tribunal because of their misleading and deceptive behaviour, however it was not worth our time to pursue this matter for $396 (however, we are confident they would have had at least reimburse us our money).

I strongly encourage anyone to not use Data Recovery Express and hope that other people read these reviews prior to engaging their services.

Anyone intending to use this company people should be aware this company is not ethical or trustworthy.
