Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back to your parents and grandparents era right here in the Eastern suburbs? Here's your chance.

Jade Kew harkens back to a different era. The menu is a culinary hawker's cart of old favourites. The food is palatable, some of the accompanying features of this restaurant are less so. The waiters, whilst friendly, often have less than clean uniforms and there is theoftcompulsory, ailing grey fish in a murky tank at the back.

You can't really fault Jade Kew, the servings are huge and if you set your expectations beforehand its not a bad option to pop into of an evening.
