IQ Shutters

IQ Shutters excellent. Installers were pleasant and efficient. The shutters are fantastic every room looks brilliant. They work perfectly. Don't know what Glen T is going on about their service first class.

I had a shutter installed in a porthole window by IQ Shutters. The shutter was made in China and is poorly designed and manufactured. While being cleaned it accidentally fell out of the window because it was only held in by magnets. There was some slight damage and it needed some specialised parts to repair. It took a lot of pressure to be placed on the company to have it repaired under warranty. They had to get some tiny pins imported from China.

Months later some other small parts broke and this time the company refused to do the repairs. Even a formal complaint through the Queensland Office of Fair Trading failed to convince them to do the right thing by the customer.

I took the shutter to a local company and they repaired it on the spot. It took about 20 minutes and they charged me just $8 for parts.

Customer service is not part of IQ Shutters vocabulary. For the sake of a very minor repair, this company has trashed its reputation and lost a customer. Definitely the way to stay in business.
